Dallas Movers  Standard Line haul/Transportation Charges

A.Dallas Movers Transportation “Line haul” charges within the 49 contiguous states of the United States:

All Dallas Movers rates are based on the actual weight of the property moved by the Dalaas Movers or cubic feet occupied on he Dallas Movers thetransport vehicle.                          Actual weight is determined by the certified weight certificates.                                               Where the line haul is priced subject to the weight of the shipment then the maximum charge for line haul transportation of a shipper’s property is based on the actual weight of that property and charged at a price per pound up to $1.00 per pound. This rate will bediscounted based on the discount schedule attached as “Addendum A-Weight” to this document.                                                                                                                                         Where the line haul is priced subject to the cubic feet occupied on the Dallas Movers transport vehicle then the maximum charge for line haul transportation of a shipper’s property is based on the actual cubic feet occupied by the property and charged at a price per pound up to $10.00per cubic foot.                                                                                       This rate will be discounted based on the discount schedule attached as“Addendum B-Cubic Foot” to this Dallas Movers document.

Dallas Movers  NOTE: the minimum charges for any shipment will be charged based on the rate of 1,400 lbs. or 200 cubic feet.

B. All  Dallas Movers Motor Service to or from Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and

Hawaii: Reserved for future use.

C. Dallas Movers Weighing and weights: Dallas Movers Carriers transporting shipments on a weight based estimate shall determine the weight of each shipment transported prior to the assessment of any charges depending on the weight.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Dallas Movers Estimates to charges based on estimated weight are allowed. The shipper has the right to view the weighing, but must make this request to the  Dallas Movers carrier prior to the weighing so the carrier may give notice of the time and location wherethe vehicle will be weighed.The Dallas Movers Carrier may substitute manufacturer’s weight for automobiles, trucks, vans, campers, boats, and other similar vehicles or bulky items in lieu of obtaining separate weight certificates for those articles. Weight certificates shall be administered and maintained in compliance with federal law.

D.Dallas Movers Additional weight/cubic feet over the estimate - exception to tariff rates:

Additional pounds or cubic feet over the Dallas Movers estimate will be charged at the same rate per pound or cubic foot of the estimate regardless of how many pounds or cubic feet over the estimate the property was.

E. Fuel surcharge: There will be  up to  15% fuel surcharge on the actual line haul for all Dallas Movers orders.
